My Work Processes
- Begin by meeting with the client to gather detailed requirements for their website. Discuss their goals, target audience, desired features, branding guidelines, and any specific functionalities they require.
- Document all requirements thoroughly to ensure clarity and alignment between us.
After understanding the client's requirements, I will showcase a wireframes or mockups to visualize the website layout, structure, and design elements. Present these mockups to the client for feedback and approval. Iterate on the designs based on the client's input until they are satisfied with the overall look and feel of the website.
Once the design mockups are approved, I provide the client with pricing options for website development, including any additional services such as domain registration, hosting, or ongoing maintenance. Identify subscription plans if applicable, outlining the features and benefits of each package. Provide estimates for ongoing maintenance costs to ensure the client understands the long-term commitment involved.
With the design and pricing finalized, I proceed to develop the website using WordPress. Implement the approved design mockups, customize the theme as needed, and integrate any requested functionalities or plugins. Ensure the website is responsive, SEO-friendly, and optimized for performance across different devices and browsers.
Once the website development is complete, conduct thorough testing to ensure all functionalities work as intended and the website meets the client's requirements. Invite the client to review the website and provide feedback. Make any necessary revisions based on the client's input to ensure their satisfaction with the final product. Once approved, assist the client in adopting and using the website effectively, providing any necessary training or documentation.
Finally, educate the client on the importance of ongoing website maintenance to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. Provide maintenance tips such as regularly updating WordPress core, themes, and plugins, performing backups, monitoring website analytics, and implementing security measures such as SSL certificates and firewalls. Offer maintenance services or support plans to assist the client in keeping their website up-to-date and secure in the long run.
